February How To Pray

It always surprises me when people get "Saved" they get a new vocabulary!! They start writing fluffy, they are lets say angelic.

God does not have a specific language requirement. I have always been reluctant to pray in public because as a Stuttgartian, I did not feel I had the language to do it justice. One day I had the pleasure of hearing Curtis Martin, a true man of God.

Curtis was in the pulpit and started a congegational prayer exactly like this, Its me God, how are you..... From then on I know God just wants you to be you.

Never be afraid of what you have to say, talk to God like a friend. Where else can you get any more unconditional acceptance then from God himself? There is no prayer to small there is no request to big. The biggest problem is not praying at all. In everything you do give prayers of thankgiving, prayers of concern, prayers that just comment all day long. Soon you will not be able to go through a moment without thanking God.

If you have to have a little fellow on you shoulder to talk to all day let it be God, because the devil likes to ride right next to your ear. But he can not stand it when you are in constant communication with God. He moves to someones elses shoulder.
