"faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead" James 2:17

That could be a strong pill to swallow if you do not know what it means.  God first needs us to know who we are in faith. That process can be an up hill battle for some.

I can speek personally: I have always considered myself a Christain. I was born to church going parents one Catholic one Presbyterian. We were given the choice from day one to make our mind up to the path we wanted to follow. Well you give a young man the choice without the correct knowledge and he, like I , will choose, the easiest one. Easiest, maybe, being neither.

I knew the teachings, I knew of the death and reserection, I just did nothing to help spread the word. In Gods eyes it was as if I had little or no faith. Why? Because I was serving only myself and serving is being generous. What God wants is for us to do something ANYTHING:  to praise him, acknowlege him, spread the word of him.

You will find, as hard as it is, to tell someone of your faith. The minute you do you will feel a strange peace, almost a relief or calm. The more you do it the more you need this feeling. Each one of us have a gift, it takes time to see what your gift is. Your witness might be, home repair for the elderly, feeding one person in your life that might not be as fortunate as you, helping with the youth at your church.

Do not waste time searching for your gift, it is right there. Not all of us are called to be actual preachers, lecturers, I am not. My gift is my hands: I consider myself a handyman, while you may be an orginizer, a worker bee or a million more options. God just wants us to do SOMETHING in his name.

Take this time to contact us and tell us what your gift is:
